as i listened to the priest read his sermon of the Gospel of Luke i could not help but think of what my godsis shared during the Spark meeting 2 days ago
it was rather a suprise that the thought came to my mind
she said about how we tend to think twice and procrastinate whenever we see people in need
i guess its quite true
From her experience , there was a time she thought twice about whether to help the blind man up the bus . Before she could decide to help that particular old man , a lady behind her helped the old man. I guess in this generation we tend to feel uncomfortable helping strangers and often think twice.
In the Parable of the Good Samaritan, Luke 10 : 25-37 although it was said that the Jews hate the Samaritans , however in the Parable , it was said that the s\Samaritan helped the Jew even though they were so called "enemies". Nowadays it would indeed be rare to see enemies helping one another. Sometimes i wonder why sometimes we have this anger/frustration/pissed towards certain groups of people who have wronged us and if there were to be a time of need, we probably would not help them....Why is this so? Should we see the Christ in them, forgive and help them or would we give up and choose to hate them? In my honest opinion, If i asked myself that question i would probably choose the easy way out by giving up and choose to hate rather then to forgive as at that point of anger it would seem impossible to forgive ...... The right path is not always the "easy way" though ...By choosing to forgive them ,
we would have freed ourselves of this unwanted anger in our hearts and it definitely feel alot better that choosing to hate. We should always help people with 'no strings attached' Adopting a right attitude is always good way to live a good christian life i guess.......

today was Spark sharing
i was suppose to share on the Gospel of John 15 : 7-12
so i decided to reflect on it and this is what i shared about.......

“This is my commandment: love one another as I have loved you. No one can have greater love than to lay down his life for his friends…”
(JOHN 15: 12)

Jesus kept to those words of his; in fact, He died for us while we were still sinners and not his friends. I guess the word ‘love’ has been very loosely used today. I would like to provide some new insights to his highly over-used word and its true meaning which can be found in scripture. Firstly, what are the few criterion that defines ‘love’? As Jesus has shown, love is no use without any action. His death on the cross is the greatest act of love ever displayed by any human being. This love He has for us made Him chose to die for us and by this act of love; we have all been redeemed from sin and death. Love means to share, to bear and to dare unconditionally. This also means dying to oneself and giving things up to someone else. My brothers and sisters, the call of Jesus is simply to love till it hurts.

if everyone love each other there would not be wars and fightings and peace all around ....
i guess im not loving enough since i still do fight will my brothers occasionally
however i try to improve myself i must always see christ in others
the good in others ... love starts at home love everyone despite their selfishness , i guess this is what is meant by love till it hurts.......

after that we when to takashimaya to play indian poker.
rather humorous i would say ....
i like the fact we did hilarious forfeits like the 'take pict with foreigner' and do stupid stuff in front of the public
eudora took pict with some fat eurasian wahahahaha[wasteed sia cause after that so many handsome guys pass by then she was like "wah lao leh wasted" expression]haha especially when eudora is like better looking compared to all the gals in my class :P
then chee tong took away her vaio[she was like wheres my vaio ahhhhh!!]
she was rather at a loss and down till she reach the bus stop then chee tong gave her back her vaio

went for a 1hr SnW lecture[am] and end of with CATS class
my CATS teacher is from new jersey...how cool is that
first thing we did was speed dating....
and we were suppose to intro ourselves and sae some interesting bout ourself
i crapped with the BEST pickup line ever!! haha
it goes like this "an interesting fact is i am a guy"
muhahah so original sia no one thought about that :)
anyways after that i killed 2hrs waiting for gang to finish their CATS lessons and i crash SnW lecture[pm]... it was rather fun...
after that i 'stole' bky $2 note for fun....haha
then we went buy books...
AND FYI I AM NOT A NERD [gang dun call me a nerd if not U DIEEE!!!]
ended the dae rather slack....
finished a 4.4km slow jog
then i did my relay for 400m
and went home........

wow todae was super fun ...
where shall i begin...
first the other kllalam guys and i went to play ultimate frisbie for 2 rounds before we were interrupted by the china gal and the kllalam gals ...[ my team was winning]
we played dog and bone using the red beach ball
we were split into 2 grps[obviously my grp was too good and we won hhaah]
the other grp had to FORFEIT HAHA
it was so comical
follow up was some games like volleyball , the 'frog' game [1 frog... jump into water ..drob ...] , aand the barbie ranking lol[amirul idea]...we played other games like sperm and egg[linna was made to run and she seemed so tired after that lol haha]..we also did the 'magnum'-ing [meng was quite good at it] and last but not the lease we formed kllalam "WHISTLE" squad .....[victims were too many too count] haha we had dinner at the rooftop of vivo...it was rather nice evening with the sky lit with stars....after dinner we crapped with each other and went home by mrt ......[i will upload the picts after i get it from linna]

when i reached ngee ann on the first day of sports camp i thought it was gonna be just another camp..
how wrong am i to think that way

the first day was filled with activitys and icebreakers...

although the food wasnt that great but the people i met there were great
this was THE best camp ever
the whole grp were so enthu and nver fail to cheer and counter cheer other grps
the leaders made a whole lot of difference in the camp tooo
they were sooo enthu and cheerful
the highlight was about not losing the tribal flag thru out the 4 daes
the second dae was even more fun than the first day
now to the third day...

i woke up at around 6plus in the morning

as i type my nric into the com i found that i ended up in NP logistics management

it wasnt what i expected though but i guess GOD has other plans for me

in the afternoon i went gym with hans and after that sakae sushi buffet [thks hans for the treat]

at around 6plus in the evening i met with ced , jon , alisa , si hui , jac , nat , daniel , aaron and wayne , andrea at bishan mrt busstop ... then we decided to go swensens eat but it was too crowded... we then went to some neo print shop and took some picts of our grp it was fun and gay hahaha....

then later on we went back to swensens to eat.......

the guys and gals was so thoughful to get me an earthquake hahha and sang the bdae song in chinese and english ....how sweet of them.....

Cjc youth rally 2007 aka hearts on fire

It was a really enjoyable night at the CJC . What started out as the moody and depressed 'me' became a happy new 'me' . i guess this is what i is meant by praising God can really change a person. when i got to cjc , i bumped into michelle from sfx and she asked me to join her and her friends for the youth rally[how nice of her] . we sang with our hearts , enjoying every little bit of it and just coming together to praise God. There was 1 part when the MC asked us to put our hand on the person shoulder followed by the hand on the head next to us and repeat after him [prayer] it was kinda funny cause michelle's hand was super cold... hahha anyways i might consider joining cornerstone [SFX] haha but dont worry ill still attend F.U.E.L meetings...... after the praise and worship , followed joanne and rachel back to bishan......

today was my last day of work although i was having mixed feelings as many thoughts flooded my tiny little brain of mine.After work i called lester and decided to pay my scout troop a visit.As usual it was chaotic and the sec 4s were pissed off with the teacher-in-charge.i felt that the teacher-in-charge is corrupting the minds of the scouts ... i mean in my 4 years in scouts ive never heard of such an outrageous request to hire people to carry our scout stuff to the competition next week.this is seriously WRONG in every sense in every perspective u can ever imagine.if the previous leaders were here they would not even consider this option ,lesser more the graduated 06 LEADERS OF TRIACE ...by giving them the option ,the teacher-in-charge is seriously pampering them like a prince ...it pains me to see the scout troop becoming worst in this way and i strongly feel that a certain amount of getting things straight with the teacher-in-charge should be implemented ..its such a sad thing that as graduates 06 from sec sch scouts we cant really change his thinking but hopefully the scout troop will still be able to survive the politics running in the scout troop and not breakdown....anyways after that i decided to go to thomson plaza to cash my check juz to find it closed..but i was super lucky and met xavier at tp ..from there i decided to eat dinner with him haha...met with rach and joanne at tp and ate at BK ...then my mom called to ask mi buy orange juice and i went ntuc to buy it ...rach accidentaly left her purse at the drinks area and we went back to find it but to no avail..then we went to the info counter to enquire about it and managed to retrieve it..blest the lord! haha anyways we met with joel and andrew at prata house and talked haha.. after that we bumped into kevin and isabelle who juz came back from njc talent time..they were supposedly trying their luck in finding church people at prata house[lucky them!] after that we all went home.. i decided to walk home...it was kind of nice walking in the dead of the night with the cold breeze brushing against your face , the quietness that can relax the mind and soon i was in deep thought ......

today is certainly the most enjoable day tis month haha

it started like a typical saturday working day
start at 9am and end at 1pm...
As i waited for the bus to arrive , i thought about the youth rally today and soon went into a endless stream of thoughts ..... like who i will meet and hoping to meet...
Somehow things turn out unexpectedly for the fortunate me........
i somehow ended up meeting joanne at mos B with her friends erm... hmmm. wan ching aka nancy , nicole and her other friend ernica aniways after meeting with them , we went to church of the risen christ for the youth rally and met up with more ijtp gals..... joannes friend was damn smart ...she brought a marker and changed all our tags to light green haha and we were sitting in the long pew together haaha... joanne's friends were damn high and crazy too haha [those lesbian acts]
Father Terrance[hope i get his name spelled correctly] was giving a speech on youth today and stuff and about how he ended up in charge of the youth in the north[something liddat] aniways what caught struck me the most was when he say, "church people today are either sinful ,dead or frozen.. which one are you?"this sentence struck me the most and i thought deeply about it... i guess im the kind that is frozen but is slowly defrosting with the help of the warmth and motivation by my felllow friends and most importantly GOD.. without them i would still be frozen...
to sum it up before i sleep today, i guess today turned out alright except i feel kinda bad tagging along with joanne's group[paiseh i guess] SRY joanne , i must be an inconvenience to u right? haha anyways thanks for inviting me to your group for the rally it was really fun afterall.....
and to your question , Yes i am lucky to be the only guy in that big bunch of ijtp gals sitting on the same pew haha greatly enjoyed myself
after that i took bus 88 to prime supermart at bishan and went home from there ...

ITs been such a long long time since ive heard from 6g .. MAn missed them to bitz not pieces ... hope we have a get-together soon haha .....aaron still as cheeky as ever and cedric being the responsible 1 .... i just realised our class people damn successful in both leadership and talent... the last ive heard was Bai Rong being one of the top fencers and Jin Hao being the TROOP leader[highest possible rank in scouts in the secondary level] of his scout troop and also jasmine also one of the top in SJAB and supposedly very good in her singing[those singing lessons paying off heh especially before olevel practices heh] haha... the rest is still quite blur haha sry to those i forgot to mention but hey all of us excel to perfection in our own unique way ...thats what differentiate us from the rest of ats02 heh... no matter what happens we will rawk ze world yeah!

after church mass at 7am went to polo club via marymount road by bike.was kinda tired but figured that exercise would help relieve this tiredness.Met up with hans and we did the circuit training at the gym before heading to the pool for a swim.Hans " showed off his freaking 6 pacs " although he didnt last long in the pool andwas like totally beat after that that he complain his ass muscle very pain haha.Man it seemed forever to walk out of the club and we decided to go Velocity to do some window shopping.After that we walked to United Square to grab a bite at Subway.Strangely ive nver been to Subway before[hmmm i probably had a deprived childhood haha]..... and it never cross my mind to go there.ding was like "hey lets go Subway its much more healthy" hhaaha... anyways after that i realised that my bike was still at the club and had to go get it................

yesterdae it was a totally exhausting day at work
finally 1pm came and i took the bus to republic openhouse to meet a couple of friends to look around.hmmm... participated in a few games and it was already 4pm!
then went home to get my bible and crash at one of my good friends chinese bible study group[yckc].haha the pastor was so young..probably only 30plus and he was talking in chinese.it was like omg! i didnt expect that CHINESE ! I dont even understand his chinese it was like he was talking in chinses 4 word structure or something.it was like the good old days in ai tong primary school when everyone talk in chinese prases less than 4 words ..anyways was kind of fun haha got to meet new people , hang out a bit and most importantly chill out after a tiring day at work.that was pretty much it for yesterday haha.
always remember "work hard and play hard makes a dull lifeless guy happy"

dae seems so borin.
first thing in the mornin is cant help but worry about being late for work
work was as usual all the borin labour carving the contact fingers and stuff
afternoon the boss treated me to lunch.
finally the time to leave work 5.30pm came
relived myself of the boredness i guess......
went to j8 to chill with a couple of my friends.
ate dinner and went home.....
all in a daes work.......
aint it so boring?
wish i didnt have to work then can go out with my friends more often and earlier:P
anyways gotta go ......zZzZz...

first thing vice principal say in the morning was "lets talk about your o level grades" "those B3 and below plz retake and if u dont RETAKE plz ask ur parents to see mi" ITS like wtf wrong with him...
some people just pass and they are over the moon man so whats wrong with b4? or c5?
anyways my class did pretty well....13 distinctions 20over B3 6people with C5 and 6 people with C6....msg 3.4something bb gtg

fun but disappointed tat our banner got disqualified....

All the stories ive told so far aint wat i conjured but its all thanks to mi ObS instructor lum Tang .Yup credit goes to him for tellin mi bout morals .Hes a gd instructor. Story of Two Crabs(retold by mi)

There used to be two small crab eggs at e beach.As they emerged from their shells they hide in a particular small hole in e corals juz enough for them to squeeze in when predators are near n hunt when the danger is gone.As u all noe crabs have soft shells when their juz born.Over time the two crabs shells harden and they dared to venture out as they can hide in their hard shells when predators are around .As they hunt n grow they have to shed their small shells and emerging was a softer but bigger shell. One particular crab decided to hide n not hunt as hes scared that hes vunerable to predators. The other crab however was darin n continue to venture out n hunt. As years past the crab that stayed in e hole remained the same small size but e other crab grew in size n was way bigger than e small crab..................... After tellin u tis story wad can u reflect bout wad I sae?...

There used to be an old hermit livin on a beach.One day as he strolled on e beach he realised that a young kid was throwin e starfishes that he saw that was washed up e beach bac to the ocean.Livin there for many years he knew that it was meaningless to do so cause there were juz to many starfish being washed up.As the old man told the young kid wat he thought he was suprised by how the kid defended hyimself by telling the old hermit Tat for every starfish he throw back to e sea hes saving one more life ........wat does dis tell us? ..... reflect....

There used to be a farm where there were two animals basically THE CHICKEN AND THE PIG.ONE day their master asked them to buy him breakfast.Being loyal servants both of them went to the onli foodcourt in e area n found out that the place had closed down n moved.At first both of them were in a dilemma cause being faithful servants they didnt wan the master to starve so they decided to make breakfast themselves...
The chicken had no problem as it laid eggs to make scramble egg for the master, however the pig didnt noe wat to do n decided it was worth it to sacrifice part of himself to the master.When the master saw the breakfast he was suprised.The chicken bein the proud one he has claimed the credit as he told the master that he had to make e breakfast of bacon n egg cause e foodcourt had closed down.The pig , on e other hand kept quiet n didnt receive anithing although his sacrifice was beyond the chickens'.
